Customized Teflon PFA is suitable for many harsh environments. With the exception of a few very strong redox agents, Teflon is resistant to almost all chemicals and retains its effective performance as a hose over a temperature range of approximately -73°C to 260°C. Its non-stick properties, low coefficient of friction and moisture resistance are ideal in many applications.
Customized Teflon PFA is generally composed of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) inner tube or spiral lining and outer casing. Both ends of the hose are usually equipped with stainless steel metal quick couplings. The inner diameter is generally 5mm-200mm. This hose has a wide variety of uses in the factory.
In the chemical industry, customized Teflon PFA is widely used to transport strong alkaline or highly corrosive chemicals. For example, LCP Chemicals replaced copper-nickel alloy pipes with Teflon hoses five years ago. Loading chlorine gas into a tanker has tripled the life of the hose and reduced costs.
In the transportation industry, customized Teflon PFA is widely used as compressor piping, fluid transfer lines, cooling water lines, oil gauge lines and brake lines.
